Homemade Almond-coconut milk
If you prefer using plant-based milk, I recommend you to make a homemade milk. Itś easy to make and taste deliciously. You need a blender or food processor and nut milk bag or cheesecloth.

The plant-based almond-coconut milk is the best with porridge, oatmeal or a coffee. Or you can use it for baking as well. The smell of cardamom and cinnamon is irresistible and together with coconut is so creamy.
Ingredients
100 g raw almonds (soaked overnight)
1 tbsp. coconut cream
1 l water (filtrated)
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. cardamom
pinch of salt
1 tbsp. marple syrup
Instructions
Drain the almonds from their soaking water and rinse them.
Combine the almonds and the rest of ingredients in the blender.
Blend at the highest speed for 2-3 minutes.
Place nut milk bag or cheesecloth over the measuring cup. Pour the almond mixture into the strainer.
Squeeze and press with your hands to extract as much milk as possible.
Store in sealed container in the fridge up to 5 days.

The leftover almond meal can be added to oatmeal, smoothies or muffins.
